Is Miss Caroline a victim or a villian?

(Point) I feel that Miss Caroline is a victim of ignorance to the ways and traditions of Maycomb, as anyone new to the town would be. (Explain) Miss Caroline treats the first graders poorly because she does not know how else to treat them. She is not used to the ways of Maycomb and she does not know how to cope with the change in environment, To any outsider, characterizing a whole family (Cunninghams) as extremely, poor would be a rude action to make. (Elaborate) She is an outsider (from faraway place in North Alabama). She is new to teaching in the South and had limited knowledge of Maycomb County. (Link) For example, she did not know that the Cunninghams and Ewells were white trash of the South Alabama for generations (and that Cunninghams never took anything they cannot pay back) therefore Walter could not accept her quarter for lunch. Miss Caroline is a victim of ignorance to the ways and traditions of Maycomb and thus treated the first graders poorly.
